What is merino?
Merino wool is a natural fibre that comes from Merino sheep, a breed that produces the finest and softest wool in the world. This makes merino wool ideal for clothing and accessories, as it has many advantages over other types of wool and synthetic fabrics. For example, merino wool has very fine fibres, measured in microns (one thousandth of a millimetre). Our merino wool is superfine, with a diameter of only 1/6th of a human hair. This means it is very smooth, soft, and comfortable to wear.
